Happy New Year!  Hope you all enjoyed a blessed and joyous Christmas season.

 

Our first meeting of 2012 will be held next Sunday, January 22 in the parish center at St. Gertrude in Madeira.  The program will feature the 5^th and final conference by Father Archabbot entitled 

Sharing the Mind of St. Benedict: The Monastery, the Oblate and the World.  The title of Conference Five is: “St. Benedict and the Spirit of Advent.”  (It looks like we should have had this one in 

November!)  Discussion questions for this conference are enclosed.

 

Nick has graciously volunteered to take over maintaining our Cincinnati Oblates website, www.cincinnatioblates.org  and will present some of his ideas on this to you at the meeting on Sunday.

Benedictine Oblate Retreat

Fr. Timothy Sweeney, OSB, is the retreat master for the March 2012 Benedictine Oblate Retreat at Saint Meinrad.

 

“Come Away by Yourselves to a Deserted Place and Rest Awhile” (Mark 6:31), is the title of the March Oblate Retreat for Benedictine Oblates at Saint Meinrad.
